per•spec•tive – the state of one’s ideas, the facts known to one, etc., in having a meaningful interrelationship.

When your partner is communicating something to you, stop and really look at the situation. You may not agree with what they are saying but they are speaking for their perspective and what they feel is real for them so you need to take it seriously. For example: If your spouse is saying that you don’t make them feel appreciated, it’s up to you to do whatever it is that makes them feel more appreciated.
